Yeshiva Midrasha Hachasidit

Yeshiva Midrasha Hachasidit

The Midrasha Hachasidit opened its gates in Elul 2014 (תשע”ד) to cherish young men from distinguished Hasidic homes who find in it the perfect answer for realizing their inherent potential. Within its walls, they have the merit to ascend and elevate themselves in the ways of Torah and Hasidut.

The Midrasha is intended for bochurim aged 13-18 from high-quality Hasidic homes, who possess the ability and desire to learn, who aspire to advance and grow spiritually, and who, for this purpose, require additional areas of interest and study to enrich their daily schedule. The Midrasha intends, with Bsiyato D’Shamayim, to be a magnificent incubator for Yirei Shamayim Hasidic scholars and Avodat Kodesh, who will be equipped with the diverse tools required for self-fulfillment and a life of action – a glory to its maker and a glory to him from mankind תפארת לעושיה ותפארת לו מן האדם.

A word from the Yeshiva: We believe that every bochur, whoever he may be, deserves the opportunity to realize all his strengths and talents and to bring to fruition the potential latent within him. With the help of a dedicated and high-quality education, combined with love and trust, your son will grow into a quality bochur, full and overflowing with Torah and Yirat Shamayim (תוי”ש), filled with self-satisfaction and imbued with the motivation to succeed in all areas of life.

Long, thorough, and meticulous planning led to the idea, which was developed through constant consultation with the finest educational figures and with the guidance of the great Gedolei Hador of Israel, Admorim, and Rabbis, may they live long and good days (שליט”א).

The studies at the Midrasha transform the students’ time there into full and abundant years that will constitute a firm and stable foundation for the building of their personality and spiritual growth and will accompany them for all the days of their lives.

The Midrasha is first and foremost a yeshiva, where the bochurim are immersed for most of the day in distinctively Hasidic yeshiva studies.

Alongside the main study sessions, a wide variety of other studies take place, including: Halacha classes with an emphasis on practical application, in-depth study of the Chumash and its commentators as has been customary from time immemorial, and sessions on Hasidut and Jewish thought in which the bochurim will delve into the books of the luminaries of the Hasidic movement, may their holy memory be a blessing (זיע”א), and the great masters of ethics and thought. Through these, the students will build and complete their Torah stature and acquire pure knowledge and wisdom.

Furthermore, general studies are also held, adapted to the individual abilities of each student.

In addition, students can discover and develop their talents in a wide range of fields, including: painting and drawing, design and creation, Jewish art, and music – all with a special emphasis on the practical application of the material learned as a means for a future livelihood in these fields – each according to his own traits and skills.
