Yeshiva HaRab Amiel – HaYishuv HaHadash

Yeshiva HaRab Amiel – HaYishuv HaHadash

The Yeshiva of Hayishuv Hahadash is the oldest high school yeshiva and has the highest level and success in its field.

The yeshiva staff works diligently on the success of each and every student individually, to raise him in Torah and Yirat Shamayim, and to bring out his maximum potential.

The yeshiva is not just another educational institution – it is a forge for imparting values and building stable character.

The Rosh HaYeshiva, Rabbi Yehuda (R’ Yidel) Kolodetzki of blessed memory, established in the yeshiva strict adherence to the yeshiva’s schedules and punctuality, as well as high academic achievement in studies – leadership that continues to this day. The success of the yeshiva is unique and unparalleled for many decades, and speaks for itself.

Graduates of the yeshiva occupy places at the eastern wall of the world of yeshivas, the world of religious judges and rabbinate. Even in the practical world, graduates of the yeshiva – their reputation precedes them in all fields.

The yeshiva maintains a long study day of 13 hours, of which only about three hours are allocated to secular studies. Nevertheless, the matriculation certificate at the yeshiva is of the highest level.

The yeshiva students come from Haredi families, some of them families who immigrated to Israel from abroad, who are interested in a matriculation certificate, as well as second and third generation descendants of yeshiva graduates. The vast majority of graduates continue after their studies at the yeshiva to study at advanced holy yeshivas – such as Yeshivat Chevron, Yeshivat Netivot Chochma (Wolfson), Yeshivat Itri, Yeshivat Derech Emuna, Yeshivat Or Elchanan, and even Yeshivat Ponevezh.
